For Dyson Singapore we had Scott Maguire as our guest for lecture. It was interesting and very fun to go through his presentation as he spoke about the development processes of products that they created, such as the vacuum cleaner and washing machine that cost a bomb, which he explains why they are paid for its quality and services. He talks about the constant need to improve in their products as there are so many competitors out there who are competing for the top spot of the fastest, dryest, cleanest and most durable vacuum cleaner and also their really powerful washing machine. It was funny when he had showed us how they go through their creative process in minimizing the size of their vacuum cleaner to the size that fits within an A4 sheet of paper and also their quality control, the amount they invest in sending the products for testing, also when they were pitching the concept of a hollow loop fan that blows out air from god knows where, we are still figuring that out, it was quite hilarious to be honest. Getting involved and knowing their process of thinking and how they work  showed us that we can always still have fun and enjoy working at the place we love and belong in. I guess this is what makes their company and team such enthusiastic workers and thinkers. They work towards aims and work well as a team for every new reinvention of

a product. Really something fun and interesting to take away from

his presentation.
