Tische Asia

From Tische Asia, we had

Jean-Marc Gauthier with us. He started off really interesting as he had touched on how our dreams are part of our research in our life. Where the middle eco system was and also spoke about the rule of six degrees of seperation, that we are all connnected to everyone, and that it takes only six people between you and somebody else. He spoke about how research is one of the most expensive thing in our work and project. When it comes to ideas and concepts, think of your own thing, what you like to do, your own people. Try not to make things difficult for urself, so do what you like, what you are interested in, discover about the people living around you and make the effort to connect with them.

Also he touched on how a piece of work can never consist the 3 elements of quality or creativity, money and time all at the same time. He also talks about mapping our research, as sometimes it works, sometimes it does not, one may work and the others end in the trash can. How does our project really find its way in fully understanding people. How to create our own luck as "luck is a mix of violent emotion, chance, rational calculation" as told by Clauwitz. And these are amoung the many many tips and tricks on work, research and development that he had offered during the guest lecture session. His works and sketches during ideation and planning were also very interesting and also how he enegaged in an animation artist online to help him out, he showed us how long and detailed the process of his work was and there were lots to learn.
